Tadpoles!

Tadpoles in eggsThe frog eggs have developed more and the tadpoles are better defined.

TadpolesIn this photo you can see the mass of frog eggs which are now a mass of tadpoles.  Many of the tadpoles have left the egg nest entirely.

There are several egg masses in the pools — each at a different stage of development.  I noticed the tadpoles which have wriggled away from the nest tend to rest on top of leaves or go hide underneath the leaves. They look like black lines in the photos.
