Two different flowers are up and waving at me. I have not previously experienced either of these beauties which I planted last fall. The one above is a “Lion King dutch iris” while this next one is a “camassia ‘Blue Melody’.”
This is such a delicate looking flower with variegated foliage that I nearly missed seeing it among the tulip and bee balm leaves.
Speaking of delicate . . another favorite spring wildflower, which is just past its peak bloom, is the crested dwarf iris.
